Just a quick post, as I’m busy packing. I’m heading up to Shetland on a flying visit this weekend, arriving on the Saturday morning ferry and returning again on Saturday evening. This is a 1,500 kilometre round trip for me and yes, it’s an expensive “day out”. But: reasons.
Anyway, what to do on the train up to Aberdeen and then the longest ferry journey in the UK? Nålbinding, that’s what!
I’ll try my best to post updates to this as I head up and back down again. I have plans to try and start on a pair of handwarmers, now that the weather is closing in again. I just need to find enough yarn in my stash to do it with.
Anyhow, on the off-chance someone reading this happens to be in Lerwick on Saturday, drop me a message and we can raid Loose Ends together. I promise my wife won’t mind (she will, she definitely will).
